The McLane 20 in. greens keeper uses 10 blades for ultra-precise cutting of Bermuda, Paspalum, and other premium turf grass. The greens keeper includes a grooved roller, which helps to level and compact soil in the spring, ensuring consistency across the lawn. This reel mower is driven by a Briggs & Stratton 5.5 GT engine, and built on an all-steel, heavy duty chassis. The bed knife and reel are induction heat treated, providing excellent durability through precision hardening. All McLane front throw mowers are equipped with Touch-A-Matic engine clutch controls for ease of operation, along with a rear roller drive for positive traction. The mower also incorporates both belt and chain drives for reliability, and consistent, smooth mowing.
