The Armada Pro300 digital underground locator is an excellent tool for locating wires and cables for small, residential jobs. The Pro300 transmitter produces a 2 kHz frequency, and the receiver wand can find wires up to 500 ft. from the transmitter, at depths up to 4 ft. underground.
