The BTDR700Y walk behind roller uses a powerful diesel engine for mechanical vibration and a hydraulic drive system. This roller features two 25.5 In. wide drums with beveled edges, which is great for compacting asphalt, as well as more granular materials. While vibration is purely mechanical, the hydraulic drive system provides variable working speed for the operator. The roller can move up to 196 feet per minute, and can be parked on slopes using the brake unit at climbing gradients under 30%. The onboard 35-liter water tank optimizes compaction, providing uniform water distribution over the drum in operation.
