The Honda iGX700 engine is designed for heavy-duty applications, with a highly efficient layout and performance-enhancing features. This engine uses an OverHead Valve (OHV) design, which places the valves above the combustion chamber for greater efficiency and longer engine life. The OHV design also enables an excellent 9.3:1 compression ratio, giving this engine excellent power output without the need for premium fuel. The iGX700 is also optimized for consistent, reliable operation, with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) for fuel efficiency, and a Self Tuning Regulator (STR) for consistent engine speed.
